Silver Arcade is a magnificent building located at the heart of the city’s retail centre. Built in the 19th century by local architect Amos Hall, it opened for business in 1899, originally housing shops, offices and showrooms. Hall’s vision produced a building that was original, innovative and second to none. It is one of only two arcades in the UK that rise through four storeys.

The building has recently undergone a £3 million full refurbishment. Contemporary features have been skilfully blended with the original grand Victorian architecture – delivering a spacious, light filled retail environment.
